Walt has been involved in the community for many years, participating faithfully in Somers Point's Bayfest, Good Ole Days etc.; sponsoring various sports leagues for Somers Point, EHT and Linwood (little league, basketball, soccer); sponsor of the Somers Point Jazz concert series and Ocean City Pops, and a consistent contributor to various school programs
